The Canon Speedlite 133A is a dedicated flash unit designed for operation with Canon "A" series cameras. Specifically it is intended for use with the AE-1, A-1, AT-1, and AV-1, but works with other cameras as well. 

The Canon 133A is a very easy to use flash. Attach it to the camera's hot shoe, set to the correct film ISO, and it handles the rest. It automatically sets the camera's shutter speed, and in semi-automatic cameras, the user needs only to set the lens aperture to F/4.
